You will each write a match and the GM will grade the match by scoring it. They use a grading scale to figure out how many points you should get for each category. Whoever gets the most points overall wins.
Promo's are what help get your character over. Use promos to call out other wrestlers, ask for title matches, hype up your match or an event & generally speak to the public. Promo's play a big part in your character's status here. Good promos will help elevate you in XWA.
Note: People who dont post promos/matches most likely wont be on the main card, but instead on the dark card.
Matches
Our matches work in a very fun & controlled manner. XWA Management will book you in a match against an opponent(s). You will each write a match and the GM will grade the match by scoring it. They use a grading scale to figure out whose match is the best in certain areas. Continue reading on for the Grading Scale.
XWA thrives on being original and creative, so if your new to this efed, you'll definitely have to adapt to our match writing form. So please be sure to follow the XWA Grading Scale of Build Up, Entrance, Realism, Entertainment & Conclusion.
Build Up: Build up to your match, your upcoming XWA PPV match if you have any, if your feuding with someone, build on that. You can include storylines, promos, interviews, segments, whatever you want to build up on but the main focus is to build up on the current match you're in. But if you have a dark match, then you can have either - an off camera segment, like show what your or both wrestlers do outside XWA or something. - Or you can have an "XWA.com" segment.
Entrances: How descriptive & detailed your entrances are, from the hit of the theme song to the wrestlers posing in the ring and try to word your descriptions really good cause sometimes it can come down to whose entrances were described better in the case of both opponents have pretty descriptive & detailed entrances. And do not disrespect your opponent by giving him a short lackluster entrance but yourself a long descriptive entrance, give your opponent the same amount of entrance you would for yourself
Realism - Speaks for itself, basically how realistic your match is. Is the move you're pulling off realistic? Is the spot you're pulling off realistic? If it's a hardcore match, is the weapon you are using realistic enough to use on your opponent without killing them or something? How quick & well you & your opponent recover from weapon hits, spots, moves. How do you & your opponent react to moves, weapon hits, spots etc. Selling will be a main factor in this category. I'm pretty sure this category will be graded on Selling most of the times cause you dont see a lot of matches contain unrealistic stuff. If it comes down to both opponents having the same amount of Selling then it will be judged on who's Selling was described better. Dont sell only a few times, sell a lot in your match.
Entertainment - The basic stuff. How entertaining your match is. And I must point out that even though Respect (a category in which your opponent had to dominate more in order to win the category) isnt a category anymore please do not dominate your opponent or let your opponent dominate you throughout the whole match, that's just overkill and will make for a real sucky ass match which will cost you on Entertainment. You & your opponent are both supposed to dominate the match and with Respect out of the picture, doesnt really matter who dominates more just so as long as both opponents have the upper hand at times in the match.
Conclusion - How descriptive your match celebration is, and what happens after that. You can have another segment, promo, interview, continue your storyline, feud or whatever whether in the ring or backstage, it's pretty much another build up basically but for the future.

Note: Please be original with your wrestler. We do allow real wrestlers but it is asked that you create your own ORIGINAL wrestler so you can fully experience all that an efed has to offer. Also, dont be scared to dazzle up your profile and add some pictures, videos, and use some color.
